Accessing the effectiveness and
challenges of internal control system
The issue of effective planning for
people was brought up long before the advent of human resource management
(Richard, 1989). However, there has been little research evidence of its
increased use or of its success (Armstrong, 2009). One possible explanation is
presented by Storey (1995), who argues that as the developing business
environment forces organizations to plan effectively for their human resources,
the rapid changes in the business environment also makes it increasingly
difficult for organizations to plan with accuracy
The main objective of
this study is to access the defectiveness and identify the challenges of human
resource planning.
The specific objectives of this
study are to:
1.
Find out the Human Resource
Planning policies and practices adopted
2.
Establish whether the Human
Resource Planning practices and procedures are functioning effectively.
3.
Identify the challenges of
human resource planning.
